I often think about what the world would be if mankind had never invented fire. would there be an IT sector, websites, social media, free or paid information, red tape, or any medium today we refer to as reality.
It's hard to comprehend that most of the discoveries are nothing but accidents made by the right people at the right time, but if Hitler had almost discovered the atomic bomb first, we would all be speaking German, or worse, there wouldn't be an us.
we often use the term loosely that we got what we deserved, but as a matter of fact, it was just probability. We were born in houses with good parents and values; they sent us to good schools so that we could improve our lives.
So a new rover from my country landed on the south pole of the moon or the far side. Everyone is proud of themselves, but we should be proud of the researchers who invested time an money into this development. Were they lucky?
Maybe they used the right set of tools at the right time to land the rover and the right materials to create a rover to stand the conditions of an atmosphereless surface.
It got me thinking: What if rockets had never been invented? we wouldn't have satellites, no deadly wars, as the first rockets were used in wars as bombers. but the first rockets were invented in ancient china as party themes and then in the Chinese military.
All the achievements of humankind in exploring the outside world will disappear like they never happened. Will we still be living in the stone age? Maybe.
The world we live in, the world we perceive as reality, will be almost incomplete. Thoughts have the highest span of anything in this world. It wasn't until 1861 that the idea of exploring the outside world using rockets first came into being thereby embarking the beginning of the world of space exploration.
I believe a life without rockets and reality would be hard, dangerous, and fierce, just like the days before the Industrial Revolution. Rockets have gotten us far in civilization. We are now an advanced civilization, enlightened and working toward the future with this idea. This idea of our world coexisting with different worlds with life, and our chance to find it.
